IMPT's Layatec™ and Laya-jet™ processes are capable of depositing ITO and conducting oxide layers for the production of flat panel displays ranging in size from small hand-held devices to large 50+ inch displays. The major benefit of using Layatec™ and Laya-jet™ in the FPD industry is that there is no need for vacuum processing. This therefore allows for continuous reel-to-reel or large area deposition which significantly improves productivity without huge capital costs. The Layatec™ and Laya-jet™ processes can be simply scaled up to any size - there are no limitations of vacuum chambers. The running costs of Layatec™ and Laya-jet™ are also significantly less than existing technology, no electron beams, plasmas or vacuums.
